Sculptures on the Cliffs
Hermanus is best known for its phenomenal land-based whale watching from the meandering 12km Cliff Path hugging the scenic coastline of Walker Bay, however the Cliff Path is also home to the magnificent annual Sculptures on the Cliffs exhibition which is one of the highlights of the Fynarts Festival in Hermanus. You can find sculptures all along the Cliff Path and a good place to start is Gearings point, which is one of the main locations, right on the doorstep of 301 Hermanus Sea View Apartment. Gearings point is also one of the best locations for whale watching in Hermanus and the Fynarts Festival takes place at the start of the official whale season in Hermanus.
